Dream VC Investment Memo Bank
The Dream VC Memo Bank is a research project run by Dream VC, in collaboration with Alumni of Dream VC's Inaugural, Launch into VC and Investor Accelerator Programs.
Investment Memos (a.k.a. "Go-No-Go Documents") are internal documents produced by Venture Capitalists, who are considering an investment. These present key information, and analysis, about a startup, so that decision makers in a VC firm can review an investment proposal and decide whether or not to move ahead with the investment.
Investment Memos are often the best way to put yourself in the shoes of an investor and to understand what they are thinking. To better showcase the mindset of Venture Capitalists, we have developed several African Investment Memos in public.
As part of this project, Dream VC fellows and staff are co-developing a number of Extensive Historic Investment Memos, on some of the most successful African Startups, to showcase how Venture Capitalists think through each part of investment analysis.
