Sharon is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a learned economist. She carries experience in advising UK businesses, operating across sectors including technology start-ups and e-commerce firms, on local and overseas VAT and customs affairs in an ever-changing tax environment. She has worked with companies such as PwC, Price Bailey Chartered Accountants, and MHA Macintyre Hudson. Sharon’s lifetime passion is to contribute to the economic transformation of West Africa through economic research, evidence-based policy development, and impactful initiatives. She is particularly interested in impact investments that promote SME development and women’s empowerment.
